Hiya Skeleton Crew,

Congrats to all youse guys for makin it to the end of Season 30 of Mister Skeleton’s Trivia Zone! But before ya go & peep the leaderboard, let’s get those answers from yesterday sorted out.

Answers to Last Time

• Mariska Hargitay’s the daughter of Jayne Mansfield who directed the documentary My Mom Jayne.
• The story ’bout ice tea at the 1904 World’s Fair is that the British tea vendor Richard Blechynden had some trouble sellin his hot tea in the swelterin St. Louis heat, & so popped some ice cubes in there to make it the refreshin quaff we all know & love today.

Law & Order fans’ll’ve picked up the mini-theme here, since Ms. Hargitay & Ice-T are the actors who portray Olivia Benson & Fin Tutuola respectively in Law & Order: SVU. Fun bit of trivia: Ms. Hargitay’s played the same role on U.S. live-action prime time teevee for 27 seasons (& countin!), which is longer than any other actress! Pretty amazin!!

Season 31

I’ll be off on summer vacay for the rest of May & all of June. In the meantime, I’m workin on a surprise or three to send out to the payin crew; I’m aimin for the first one of those to hit yer inbox next week.

I’d tell all youse guys to stay cool – but there ain’t no way a member of the Skeleton Crew COULDN’T be cool, eh? So anyways, keep on keepin on, keep yer cranium in good shape, & make sure to use lotsa sunscreen! ’Cause gettin a sunburn ain’t NO JOKE! It’s actually somethin I know a lot about, on account of how I’ve definitely got an extremely normal amount of splotchy squishy skin coverin all my bones!!!
