Skeleton Trivia for 2026-05-07

A math question? What is this, MATHer’s Day?

Hiya Skeleton Crew,

Mother’s Day is comin up! In its honor, let’s have a li’l quote from Anna Jarvis, i.e. the lady who invented it:

A printed card means nothing except that you are too lazy to write to the woman who has done more for you than anyone in the world. And candy! You take a box to Mother—and then eat most of it yourself. A pretty sentiment.

Answers to Last Time

  • The name I blanked out from yesterday’s Canterbury Tales quote was Grisildis, which is spelled a li’l more modernly as Griselda. Not itself such a popular name nowadays, but it’s ultimately where we got the name of the video game princess (by way of Zelda Fitzgerald).
  • We’re smack dab in the middle of the sign of Taurus, which lasts from April 20 to May 21.
