Skeleton Trivia for Thursday, 2025-10-16

If only werewolves had a famous rivalry with some other category of supernatural being ...

Hiya Skeleton Crew,

No luck on finding a witch in the woods who can help with werewolves! The only lady who was around this week was “Wacky” Willow Westermere of the Wending Water-mead, and all SHE could offer me were some of those citronella Wolf-Away™ candles. I mean, I bought a couple since I was out there, I’d’ve felt bad if I left Willow’s shop without buyin ANYTHING ... but let’s be honest, these candles don’t do nothin other than smell kinda weird.

Ah jeez! Who else can I turn to to help with these dang werewolves???

Answers to Last Time

  • Seth Rogen was the Green Hornet in The Green Hornet—and he also co-founded Houseplant, which sells wacky tobacky.
  • Jay Chou is the King of Mandopop, which is the subgenre of Chinese pop music that’s sung in—you guessed it!—Mandarin! The “standard” dialect of Mandarin is Putonghua in mainland China & Guoyu in Taiwan.
