Skeleton Trivia for Thursday, 2026-01-29

What a prankster that ol’ Wally White is!

Hiya Skeleton Crew,

We’re nearly at the end of January – but don’t worry, ’cause the Skeleton Trivia fun’s gonna keep rollin till mid-Feb! Remember that instead of the old-style monthly leaderboards of yesteryear, now that it’s 2026 I’m tryin out a thing where I do a quartet of six-week “seasons” instead.

Okey doke, now with all that fanfare outta the way, let’s quit the prelude & waltz on over to the real show – i.e., the trivias!

Answers to Last Time

  • I showed ya a picture of the Brandenburg Gate, so called ’cause it’s the place in Berlin where ya can hop on the road to the (I guess it’s now former) Margraviate of Brandenburg.
  • Yesterday’s whole story ’bout the snowstorm & my nearly-missed jazz show & the unlikely horse-drawn carriage was to set you up for a pun where I took a gig (a type of carriage) to my gig (a concert).

Today’s Trivias

Trivia 1

Early in Season 2 of Breaking Bad, the protagonists get basically kidnapped by a drug dealer named Tuco. They manage to orchestrate an escape & head back home – but while Jesse doesn’t really gotta explain his absence to anyone, ol’ Wally White needs SOME kinda excuse for his multi-day disappearance, don’tcha know?

So he comes up with this invention: he strips naked, heads to a supermarket, & starts kinda wanderin ’round in a disoriented state. What rare but real psychiatric condition does he try to pass off his sudden disappearance & inexplicable bout of amnesia as?

Trivia 2

The suite of laws governin ecclesiastical life in the Catholic Church is generally described usin what word that comes from the Greek for a specific type of stick used by architects to make straight lines?

OK then
