Skeleton Trivia for Tuesday, 2025-05-27

Do you like the like likes, or do you LIKE like the like likes?

Hiya Skeleton Crew,

Yesterday was Memorial Day, so I took the day off! I hope none a’ youse guys minded.

In related news, I’m probably gonna take a few weeks off this summer. I’m not super sure when exactly that’ll be, but basically I’m gonna need a li’l extra bandwidth to shut down the ol’ restaurant ’n’ get my new movie theater concept off the ground. So, uh, stay tuned for that I guess??

Answers to Last Time

Last Thursday’s answers were both reduplicative words, which is why I repeated myself when I asked the questions!

  • Beriberi’s a thiamine deficiency. Thiamine is vitamin B1, so ya can easily remember that beriberi is a thiamine deficiency by countin’ up the number a’ Bs in beriberi (i.e., two of ’em) an’ then rememberin’ that, oh no, vitamin B1’s only got one B! That’s not enough Bs!! We’ve got a B deficiency!!!
  • Makemake’s the Kuiper Belt object that’s not quite as big as Pluto.

Today’s Trivias

Trivia 1

Like I mentioned last week, Makemake is the creator deity from Rapa Nui mythology. Well, the island a’ Rapa Nui is typically better known to English speakers by what name? The first European to come across this spot was the Dutch explorer Jacob Roggeveen, who first visited the isle back on April 5, 1722.

Trivia 2

Recurrin’ enemies in what long-runnin’ Nintendo franchise include the the skeletal stalfos, the gelatinous like like, the palmiform wallmaster ’n’ floormaster, ’n’ the reptilian dodongo?

OK then

Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

If ya give me your email address, I’ll send some trivias to ya! No joke!!!
