Hiya Skeleton Crew,

I know I haven’t talked much ’bout the movie theater as of late, but it’s still chuggin along – one of those “no news is good news” situations, I guess? I celebrated MLK Day by havin a double-feature of George Romero’s Martin & Ivan Reitman’s Junior & having Luther Burgers¹ & king cake on offer at the concession stand.

Surprisin’ly, not so many folks showed up??? I dunno, I gotta assume people were at home watchin college football instead.

He’s s’posed to be what type of ancient Scandinavian warrior that the good folks at Britannica describe as “a member of unruly warrior gangs that worshipped Odin” & whose “savagery in battle and their animal-skin attire contributed to the development of the werewolf legend in Europe”?

At around the same time those medieval Scandinavians were worshippin Odin & goin ’round throwin hammers at each other, over in Song-era China folks were beginnin to selectively breed what type of animal that’d later go on to become identified with a registered trademark of the Pepperidge Farm company?
