Skeleton Trivia for 2026-05-14

Liv & Fin

Hiya Skeleton Crew,

Holy buckets, can ya believe it’s the last day of Season 30???

I mean, hopefully ya can, since I’ve been talkin all week ’bout how it’s the end of the season. But ya know what I mean.

Answers to Last Time

  • Madame X is that Lana Turner movie I talked ’bout yesterday – & also the lady from that scandalous Sargent portrait, plus ALSO also Madonna’s nickname that she named her last studio album after. So many Mesdames X!
  • Elsa Schiaparelli was the surrealist designer who famously put a lobster on a dress & Shocking Pink on the map.

Today’s Trivias

Trivia 1

Ya know who famously lived in a Pink Palace? Ms. Jayne Mansfield! Her address at 10100 Sunset Boulevard was Rudy Vallée’s old mansion before she bought it with some inheritance money & spruced it up with pink paint, pink lights, pink cupids, pink fur trim, a pink heart-shaped pool & bathtub, plus apparently a pink fountain shootin out pink champagne! That’s a lotta pink there.

Can ya tell me what actor & daughter of Jayne Mansfield lived in the Pink Palace for the first three years of her life? She documented her journey to learn more ’bout her mom’s life in last year’s documentary, My Mom Jayne.

Trivia 2

The 1904 World’s Fair in St. Louis is kinda famous for introducing or makin popular all sortsa foodstuffs, from cotton candy to ice cream cones to peanut butter to Jell-O. Then there’s the story of a British fella named Richard Blechynden, who’s credited with puttin what beverage on the map?

He didn’t invent it – it’d been kickin ’round the States for at least a few decades already – but as far’s I can tell it’s the 1904 where it really caught on.

OK then
