Skeleton Trivia for Monday, 2025-09-15
Theme week? More like the ME week!
Hiya Skeleton Crew,
I wanna try somethin a li’l different this week! Just a li’l different, don’t worry, it’s not like everythin’s changing & now I’m doin a newsletter about fly fishing or somethin.
Basically instead of having a Themie Thursday at the end of the week, I’m gonna have a running theme that goes through the WHOLE week! All this week’s trivias are gonna be connected or related in some way. There’s not gonna be any special prize or anything, it’ll just be like a li’l game for ya to try to figure it out. But I guess if ya figure out the theme earlier in the week, it might help ya get some answers as the week goes on?
Anyways, I’ll reveal the theme to youse all next Monday.
Answers to Last Time
- Alexander Pope is the fella who came up with that “eternal sunshine of the spotless mind” line that the movie got its title from.
- Future hall of famer Larry Fitzgerald played for the Arizona Cardinals.
Pope & Cardinal are both titles in the Catholic church, so that’s the connection there. Kinda random, I know! I had a hard time comin up with a theme last week, & Friday’s paid email was basically a buncha stuff from my brainstorming sessions.
Today’s Trivias
Trivia 1
What James Bond movie—Roger Moore’s last—is the only one whose theme (sung by Duran Duran) got to be numero uno on the Billboard Hot 100?
Trivia 2
What 1999 movie was a basically a modern retellin of the book Les Liaisons dangereuses by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos? Fun fact, they made a direct-to-teevee prequel of this movie that featured a young Amy Adams in one of her earliest movie roles! (She played the character that Sarah Michelle Gellar played in the first one.)
OK then
