- Daryl Hannah dated JFK Jr. for a li’l bit there, which is how she ended up bein unsympathetically portrayed in that Love Story teevee show earlier this year.
- It’s UC Santa Barbara where ya can find the Gauchos.
Hannah & Barbara are kinda like Hanna-Barbera, which is the famous cartoonin company that invented characters like Harvey Birdman, Space Ghost, Captain Caveman, & the whole Mystery Incorporated crew from Scooby-Doo. Those’re all the Halloween costumes I was talkin ’bout wearin, which is why I had Hanna-Barbera on the cranium.

Do ya know Shaggy from Scooby-Doo? Y’know, the tall gangly guy who’s Scoob’s best friend? Well can ya tell me what’s Shaggy’s real name? I’ll take the first OR last name, ya don’t even need to give me both!
His first name’s the surname of the title character of Carrie Vaughn’s book series that started with Kitty and the Midnight Hour; his surname’s the first name of one of baseball’s greatest-ever hitters, who got inducted into Cooperstown in 1942 & who’s also in the team-specific Halls of Fame for the St. Louis Cardinals & the Chicago Cubs.

At the beginnin of the season I promised ya a Grammy-winnin canine, so why not let’s do that one, eh?
Out of the veritable sea of doggos out there in the world, only ONE has ever won a Grammy: Everest, a Bernese Mountain Dog that got credited as an executive producer on the album Channel Orange. Everest belonged to what singer/songwriter/rapper who’s been on musical hiatus for … well, kind of a while now? His second & most recent studio album, Blonde, came out like a decade ago.
