Trivia 1
I’m leavin Scotland & headin back to the States this weekend, but I think we can squeeze in one last li’l Caledonian question.
Scotland’s national flag is pretty simple: it’s basically a big white X on a blue field. But if I learned one thing from runnin a restaurant for a buncha years, it’s that overspicin a dish is a recipe for disaster! Sometimes, it’s the simplest seasonin that’s all ya need.
In Scotland’s case in particular, the flag’s known as Saint Andrew’s Cross – but can ya tell me what’s the term from heraldry that generally means any diagonal cross symbol?
Trivia 2
